Lloyd Everett
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Lloyd leads Assist with a calm, steady approach and a genuine commitment to making therapy simple and accessible for families.

Our Story
Assist began with a simple belief: therapy should feel personal, consistent, and genuinely supportive - not overwhelming or confusing for families.
When we (Lloyd and SJ) started Assist, we saw how many parents were juggling long waitlists, mixed messages, and a lack of coordinated support. We wanted to create something different. Something calmer. Something that made life easier for families, not harder.
SJ brought her warm, steady presence and experience as a Developmental Educator. Lloyd brought the organisation, vision, and behind-the-scenes structure needed to build a service families could rely on. We built a team around one core idea: support only works when it’s grounded in care, communication, and consistency.
Today, Assist is a growing team of Developmental Educators, Therapists, and Support Workers who partner closely with families, schools, and communities. We focus on what matters most: helping children feel understood, helping parents feel supported, and creating progress that shows up in everyday life.
